Here is what is new at the office…….
Dr. Zealand has been awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Paul P. Taylor Award for his manuscript titled “Comparing Gray Mineral Trioxide Aggregate and Diluted Formocresol in Pulpotomized Human Primary Molars. The award is given to the lead author of the most prestigious journal article published in the “Pediatric Dentistry Journal” from the previous year. This award will be presented to Dr. Zealand on Sunday May, 29, 2011 in conjunction with the 64th AAPD Annual Session in New York, NY. Congratulations to Dr. Zealand!
We are very excited to announce that we are the FIRST and ONLY Pediatric Dental Specialty practice in Alberta that has our very own in-house Orthodontist. This service has been well received by our patients and parents alike.

Dr. Cameron M. Zealand, graduated from the University of Michigan as a Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry in 2008 and continues to be affiliated with the University on a research and teaching basis. Currently, he is conducting a clinical trial comparing two types of materials for baby tooth root canal treatments.
Dr. Jennifer Smith, graduated from the University of Michigan as a Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She joined North Calgary Pediatric Dentistry (NCPD) in October 2009 to provide Orthodontics to both adults and children.
Dr. Vinsky is proud to announce the opening and full medical accreditation of his new, jointly ventured operating room, Calgary Pediatric Dental Surgical Center. Special thanks to his venture partners in this endeavor for a job well done. Thanks also to Dr. Vinsky’s business partner and medical director, as well as the nursing staff for their efforts in this accreditation.
